Stephanie Dadet is a Nigerian Screenwriter, Producer and Director who has worked in Nigeria and South Africa for the past 8 years. A graduate of Business Administration from Covenant University, Stephanie got her second degree BA (Hons)in Motion Picture Production specializing in Film and Television Producing and subsequently a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Film/TV Production from AFDA, the South African school for motion picture and Live Performance. She has written and produced several multiple award-winning short films and TV commercials. Stephanie has written, produced and directed content for top International brands which include MTN, Toyota, Samsung, Audi, Superbalist, Woolworths, Black Label Carling, Nederburg Wines, PickNPay, BMW and Sony. She co-produced the South Africa/France Feature Film ‘The Pigeon Paradox’ during her MFA Program. In Nigeria, She has worked on several TV and Film Projects including Mnet Africa Magic originals and International Non-Governmental Organisations such as UNDP, ActionAid and CARE International. She recently directed a feature film ‘My Name is Tayo’ set for release in May 2021. Stephanie served as a member of the Durban International Film Festival Short Film Selection Committee from 2017 – 2019.
